Lake Hopatcong, N.J. – Bridge Marina held their second annual Christmas in July Food Drive, Saturday July 27th to Sunday July 28th at their marina on Lake Hopatcong. Boat rental guests, Bridge Marina members, and visitors of the marina’s busy fuel dock on Lake Hopatcong were invited to donate a variety of non-perishable food items. With their help, Bridge Marina collected hundreds of food items to support Sparta Community Food Pantry’s efforts in providing resources to local families and individuals in need. ​

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – On Saturday, November 4, Family Promise of Morris County is hosting its third annual Homebound Hustle 5K & 1 Mile Walk. All funds raised through the Homebound Hustle will benefit families and individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in Morris County. The agency has served this population for over three decades, as homelessness is a persistent issue in the community. “Even before the pandemic, homelessness existed in Morris County. The Atlantic Visiting Nurse Fall Rummage sale returns to Far Hills Fairground on Friday October 6, 2023. Thousands of bargain hunters, collectors and vintage lovers are expected at the event, which takes places twice a year. The rummage sale, a cornerstone event in the community, will feature an impressive selection of gently used items such as clothing, jewelry, home goods, vintage vinyl records and more. All proceeds from the sale will go directly to supporting Atlantic Visiting Nurse to provide home health and hospice care for uninsured and underinsured patients. ​

​Raffle to benefit Forever Home campaign to house community members with developmental disabilities
 
Morris Plains, NJ - August 17, 2022 - Rose House announces the commencement of its annual 50/50 raffle fundraiser.  This year, the money raised will support the nonprofit organization’s Forever Home campaign, which includes a 12-unit apartment facility for adults with special needs in Morris County.  “With more than 8,000 adults with disabilities needing services in New Jersey alone, there is an urgency for special-need housing options,” said Rose House CEO Tom Mitchell.  “As people with developmental disabilities age out of school systems, and with their parents growing older, we are dedicated to addressing this pressing issue by providing the care these individuals desperately need.  We can only do this through the support of our community, which includes fundraising events such as the annual raffle.” 

At IT Radix, we have a creed of core values that guide our day-to-day functions.  One of the core values that we hold dear is “giving back.”  It was built into the fabric of our company on day one.  Our employees love to dedicate their time and talents to a variety of different community outreach programs, and one of our favorite programs that we recently volunteered at is the Morris County chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Once the opportunity to volunteer was announced, we had no shortage of willing staff members.  There were two teams of volunteers, one in June and one in July.  The teams assisted the Habitat for Humanity staff in various tasks working towards the completion of homes that will be lived in by Habitat families.  ​
