The Atlantic Visiting Nurse Fall Rummage sale returns to Far Hills Fairground on Friday October 6, 2023. Thousands of bargain hunters, collectors and vintage lovers are expected at the event, which takes places twice a year. The rummage sale, a cornerstone event in the community, will feature an impressive selection of gently used items such as clothing, jewelry, home goods, vintage vinyl records and more. All proceeds from the sale will go directly to supporting Atlantic Visiting Nurse to provide home health and hospice care for uninsured and underinsured patients.

Zufall Health Center of Dover will receive $65,000 to cover lab fees and patient care for veterans as part of the organization’s Smiles for Our Heroes program serving 300 veterans across Morris County. The organization also will receive $55,000 to support the establishment of a dental assistant training program in north, west and central New Jersey that will educate up to 50 dental assistants, who will provide services to children and seniors. The Foundation for Morristown Medical Center will receive $100,000 for dental supplies, restorative materials, and lab fees for uninsured and underinsured seniors, children, and those with developmental disabilities who are treated at the state-of-the-art Leonard Szerlip Dental Center.

Morristown, NJ, July 26, 2022 – Atlantic Health System announced today that Morristown Medical Center has been ranked the number one hospital in New Jersey for the fifth consecutive year by U.S. News & World Report in its 2022-2023 Best Hospital rankings. The medical center is one of the top acute care hospitals in New Jersey to be nationally ranked, and among the 50 best hospitals in the nation for Orthopedics (#23), Obstetrics and Gynecology (#28), and Cardiology & Heart Surgery (#46). HHS Announces Second Round of High Impact COVID-19 Area Funding
July 24, 2020 - Washington, DC - Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) announced that three hospitals in NJ-11 will receive $29.75 million in a second round of funding from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act that Congress passed in April. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will distribute a total of $10 billion in funding to hospitals across the country through the Provider Relief Fund starting this week.
