Mission: To monitor and address legislative and public policy issues at the local, state and federal levels of government as they relate to the interests of business and economic development in Morris County and among chamber members and to draft and recommend to the board of directors positions on such issues to be adopted and promulgated to appropriate government officials, the membership and the public.

Our Public Policy Series brings together Chamber members, local, county and state public officials, and business leaders to discuss issues that impact the economy, businesses and communities of greater Morris County and New Jersey. 

Our Public Policy Program includes:

• Government Affairs Forums provide members with an opportunity to hear directly from legislators, cabinet members and other public officials.  These informal discussions take place throughout the year and are sponsored by Tilcon.
• Our annual Legislative Luncheon features keynote speakers or panelists from the Morris County Legislature and other prominent state elected officials.
• Our annual Washington Update features a briefing by our US Senate or Congressional representative.

Other events may include a "Meet the Candidates" series during campaign season as well as briefings from our Governor, Energy Policy updates from NJNG, PSE&G and JCP&L and Transportation Updates from the NJDOT. These programs offer members of the business community the opportunity to interact with and ask questions of public officials and elected representatives.
