Our Government Advocacy, Public Policy and Economic Development efforts advance the goals of corporations, small and mid-size businesses, non-profits, associations and other organizations by understanding their interests, applying practical governmental and political experience and leveraging bipartisan relationships to ensure our members maximize their exposure and influence. We offer many Public Policy events throughout the year which feature leading state and local elected officials and allow attendees the opportunity to interact with and ask questions of their representatives.
The Morris County Economic Development Corporation (a division of our Chamber) is a partnership of government, businesses and allies dedicated to growing the economy of Morris County through programs and services that result in business attraction, creation, retention, expansion and transition. In addition, our Government Affairs Forum meetings include discussion of issues and legislation pending in Trenton and Washington with office holders who attend as guests and speakers. Our members have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with their representatives and discuss how issues directly impact their businesses. |
"The Government Affairs Forum gives Chamber members a seat at the table in policy discussions before Federal, State and County elected officials."
