January 7, 2021 The Hispanic Affairs Council, a forum within the Morris County Chamber of Commerce (“Chamber”) (morrischamber.org), announces the launch of a virtual Main Street “storefront” webpage to aid small business owners experiencing a drop in traditional foot traffic due to the pandemic. The concept was born out of a partnership with the Morris County Economic Development Corporation (“MCEDC”) (morriscountyedc.org), a division of the Chamber and a partnership between the business community and the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders to aid Morris County Hispanic owned businesses: a community that has been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.

Roxbury Industrial Property Sale Two industrial properties totaling 35,000 SF on 8 acres has sold to developer Commerce Park Investors, LLC as announced by Charity Realty International. The Roxbury transaction included former PRC Laser Corporation buildings 350 & 360 North Frontage Road, a vacant 16,200 SF office-warehouse facility and a 18,670 SF industrial/flex building. The package traded for $1,900,000.

Organizations with 100 or fewer employees can apply for nearly 70% discounts on PPE purchases
TRENTON, N.J. (November 23, 2020) – The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) today announced that it will increase the discounts available on purchases of personal protective equipment made through the NJ Small and Micro Business PPE Access Program to nearly 70 percent, effective Tuesday, November 24, 2020. The Authority will also double the per-business cap on discount vouchers. (NYSE: PFE) and BioNTech SE (Nasdaq: BNTX) today announced that, after conducting the final efficacy analysis in their ongoing Phase 3 study, their mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine candidate, BNT162b2, met all of the study’s primary efficacy endpoints. Analysis of the data indicates a vaccine efficacy rate of 95% (p<0.0001) in participants without prior SARS-CoV-2 infection (first primary objective) and also in participants with and without prior SARS-CoV-2 infection (second primary objective), in each case measured from 7 days after the second dose.
