Morris County Small Business Grant Program to Open Valentine's Day for On-line Applications1/31/2022
Jan. 28, 2021 - For Immediate Release - The Morris County Small Business Grant Program will begin accepting on-line applications at 8 a.m. on Feb. 14, 2022, Valentine’s Day, to aid local small companies, entrepreneurs and non-profits impacted by the pandemic. Details may be found at morriscountysmallbusinessgrant.com on eligibility guidelines, supporting documents required to submit an application and more. The webpage contains a countdown clock to when the application portal will open, and applicants will find the application portal on the same webpage when the system is activated at 8 a.m. Feb. 14.
The program will provide grants of up to $15,000 to reimburse small businesses and non-profit organizations for specific pandemic recovery expenses incurred on or after March 3, 2021 – a timeline established under the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), which is the source of the funding.
Business Leaders to Drive Recommendations on Immediate and Long-Term Recovery
Senator Anthony Bucco and the Morris County Chamber of Commerce today announced the formation of a COVID Economic Advisory Committee to develop specific recommendations that can have immediate positive impacts on local businesses, married with ways to safely reopen the economy as the State emerges from this crisis. Bucco will rely on the business-led blueprint in making recommendations to the Murphy administration, while offering proactive solutions that can be used as part of the six-state council to restore the economy.
Montclair, NJ – In an effort to help raise up businesses and business owners affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, C3Workplace will be offering pro bono services, software training, free online events, and business continuity strategy sessions. The series of offerings will be tailored to the needs of the small business community.

Some of these resources are geared toward employers with more than 500 employees (and thus not covered by the Families First Coronavirus Response Act) and some are geared toward employers with fewer than 500 employees (and thus covered by the law). TRENTON, N.J. (March 31, 2020) – The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) will launch the application for its Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program on Friday, April 3, 2020 at 9:00 am. A link to the grant program application will be posted on the State’s COVID-19 Business Information Hub. The grant program is part of a package of initiatives announced last week to support businesses and workers facing economic hardship due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus COVID-19.
