Many of you already receive our daily COVID-19 updates, but for those who don’t and would like some helpful resources, I wanted to pass this along so you have it at your fingertips. Some of these resources are geared toward employers with more than 500 employees (and thus not covered by the Families First Coronavirus Response Act) and some are geared toward employers with fewer than 500 employees (and thus covered by the law).
Last week we hosted several webinars on coronavirus-related topics, and we have planned additional webinars for the coming week, including one on Workplace Safety and another on the new CARES Act. Due to the high demand, our webinars get filled to capacity quickly, so please register early if you are interested.
In addition, our Updated FAQ's on Federal L&E Laws now have a table of contents to help you navigate the regularly-expanding information, and our updated Coronavirus Resource Center now includes the following articles to assist you:
1. Overview of the CARES Act
2. Explanation of Tax Credits for Retaining Employees & Delay on Payroll Taxes
3. Expanded Unemployment Programs
4. FAQ's on US and Global Privacy Issues
5. FAQ's for Global Operations
6. New Leave Laws in Canada
