Local Businesses and Companies Encouraged to Participate MORRISTOWN, NJ — May 15, 2024— Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal & Northern New Jersey (BBBSCNNJ) is excited to announce its upcoming Day of Giving on July 18, 2024. The day provides an opportunity for the community to get involved with supporting the life-changing impact of one-to-one mentoring for young people.
To support a growing number of families seeking high-quality child care and early years education for their young children, BrightPath Early Learning and Child Care has opened a brand-new center at 70 Old Bloomfield Avenue in Parsippany. Part of Busy Bees – one of the world's largest providers of early childhood education and care – BrightPath Parsippany serves children six weeks to six years old with nurturing early learning programs designed to give every child the best start in life.
May is Mental Health Month. Throughout the month of May, Delta Dental is supporting the Mental Health Association in New Jersey and Mental Health America by lighting up their building green.
Delta Dental of NJ, Johnson & Johnson, Hackensack Medical Center and even the New Jersey State House Dome - more than 35 businesses, organizations, landmarks and agencies statewide - are illuminating their buildings with the hue of green throughout May, symbolizing solidarity for mental health awareness. Sponsored jointly by the Mental Health Association in New Jersey (MHANJ) and Mental Health America, this widespread Mental Health Month initiative aims to underscore the importance of prioritizing mental well-being through educational endeavors and proactive mental health screenings.
