The New York Jets and Atlantic Health System announced on Monday, May 1 a series of Youth Football CPR and AED Education Sessions. The announcement occurred at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center during a Youth Football Coaching Clinic in conjunction with the Super Football Conference (SFC), the nation’s largest high school football conference. The Jets are committing $15,000 to fund the education sessions and an additional $5,000 to the SFC to purchase AED units for underserved high schools. “The New York Jets are excited to partner with Atlantic Health System and the Super Football Conference to provide these important CPR and AED sessions to youth football coaches,” said Jets Vice President, Community Relations Jesse Linder. “By removing any associated costs for coaches to attend these sessions we hope to educate close to 400 coaches this summer before the next youth football season”

The outing will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 at the Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, NJ. Funds raised from this year’s event will be used to purchase a van to transport Rose House’s clients with developmental disabilities.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Morris and Sussex Counties will hold its annual fundraiser at the Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange on Saturday, June 10th, 2023 from 6-10 PM. Approximately 500 CASA supporters; foster children and families; CASA trustees, staff, and volunteers will attend an evening of adventure while they assist the CASA organization to raise unrestricted funds to support advocacy for children in the foster care system. Invitation is open to anyone interested in supporting the nonprofit to highlight the importance of CASA’s advocacy for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. This private event will allow guests to explore the zoo unimpeded by lines or crowds.
