Morris Plains, N.J., May 1, 2023 — Rose House, a nonprofit organization that creates homes for people with developmental disabilities, announces its 7th annual “Day of Dreams” golf event. The outing will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 at the Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, NJ. Funds raised from this year’s event will be used to purchase a van to transport Rose House’s clients with developmental disabilities. “Vans are a necessity for our organization because they enable our caregivers to transport our clients to medical appointments, day programs, jobs and special events,” explained Rose House CEO Tom Mitchell. “Because our vans need to be wheelchair accessible and include specific safety features, they are more costly than typical vans. We don’t receive assistance from The State of New Jersey or Medicaid, which is why fundraisers such as our golf event are essential.”
Rose House has made numerous enhancements to this year’s golf event including its first online portal to register golfers, sponsors and donations. In addition, sponsorship signs have been revamped with a modern appearance that allows for customization. They enable sponsors to include a logo, QR code, website URL and more. The Rose House 7th annual Day of Dreams golf event also features a luncheon, silent auction, raffles and golf competition prizes. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. with golf beginning at 8:30 a.m. Registration, which includes the luncheon, is $325 per golfer or $1,300 per foursome. Participants can save $100 through a foursome, lunch and hole sponsorship package at $1,450. A variety of sponsorships are available for business that range from $250 for a hole sponsor to $5,000 for a main event sponsor. In exchange for sponsorship, Rose House will publicize each business with positive publicity that includes email and social media campaigns as well as a link on the Rose House website.
