IT Radix Teams Up with Project Readiness to Equip Local Students with Tools for a Successful School Year
Autumn... For many of us, the fall season ushers in thoughts of sweaters, fall foliage, bonfires, and pumpkin spice. For youngsters, fall also means the beginning of a new school year—a fun and exciting time for children! Was one of your favorite childhood memories shopping for back-to-school supplies? Do you remember picking out a new binder, notebooks, glue sticks, markers, and freshly sharpened No. 2 pencils? If you answered yes, you’re not alone. Sadly, for many children, this fall ritual does not bring about warm and fuzzy feelings. Many children in our area need basic school supplies. Thankfully, there are organizations that address this issue. IT Radix recently teamed up with Project Readiness, a local organization that supplies backpacks and school supplies to students of all ages, from first grade to high school. FLORHAM PARK, NJ, SEPTEMBER 22, 2022 – The Alzheimer’s Association Greater New Jersey Chapter is inviting Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset, Sussex and Warren County residents to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® on October 23 at Horseshoe Lake Park, in Succasunna, NJ. On Walk Day, participants honor those affected by Alzheimer’s with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony — a mission-focused experience that signifies our solidarity in the fight against the disease. The colors of the Promise Garden flowers represent people’s connection to Alzheimer’s — their personal reasons to end the disease. hlsen Construction Company is pleased to announce that Mauro Rubbo has been named Regional Vice President for our North Jersey Operations. Mauro will continue to serve as the Regional Vice President of our Connecticut Operations, and in his expanded role, he will also lead Wohlsen’s North Jersey Operations Team to continue exceeding client expectations in all aspects of the construction process. During his career, Mauro has served as an estimator/detailer, project manager, project executive, and vice president of construction. He joined Wohlsen in 2017 and has served as a project executive, vice president of construction, and currently regional vice president.

Paul Matysek, Administrator, states, “In addition to the staff’s dedication in their professional life, they are also an active part of the community by donating to local food banks, school supplies for teachers and students and collecting winter coats for Veterans.” Bonnie Lavoie, RN, COO, continues, “In addition, one of our nurses is part of an international mercy mission assisting in the healthcare needs of the underprivileged in several African countries.” PARSIPPANY, NJ – The Delta Dental of New Jersey Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Delta Dental of New Jersey (DDNJ), has announced that two Morris County based organizations are the recipients of grants totaling $220,000 to support the oral and overall health of communities in New Jersey. Zufall Health Center of Dover will receive $65,000 to cover lab fees and patient care for veterans as part of the organization’s Smiles for Our Heroes program serving 300 veterans across Morris County. The organization also will receive $55,000 to support the establishment of a dental assistant training program in north, west and central New Jersey that will educate up to 50 dental assistants, who will provide services to children and seniors. The Foundation for Morristown Medical Center will receive $100,000 for dental supplies, restorative materials, and lab fees for uninsured and underinsured seniors, children, and those with developmental disabilities who are treated at the state-of-the-art Leonard Szerlip Dental Center.
