There is a revolution going on; most aware of it call it the Life Force Revolution, and it's all about energy; how to source more, produce more, and harness it intelligently for better results in your life, career, or business. As an entrepreneur and performance lifestyle coach, I realized early on that energy is the crux of all human performance, and performance is ultimately a lifestyle. So, if you want to perform at a higher level, you need a balanced and healthy, high-performance lifestyle, which requires you to manage your energy (life force) like a pro, especially in the fast-paced, constantly changing times we live. Tony Robbins is a well-known person intimately aware of this revolution. Author of "Money— Master the Game" and now a new book, "Life Force— How New Breakthroughs in Precision Medicine Can Transform the Quality of Your Life & Those You Love; Tony Robbins has been talking about "unlimited power" and "how to unleash the power within" for decades. Now it's time to understand what that power is! I'm not highlighting the book's regenerative medicine emphasis, which is as engaging as it gets; specifically, I'm focusing your attention on the energy the book's title points to.
"Life Force," otherwise known as the "vital principle, popularly, "Qi, or chi," "Prana," "Nerve Energy," "Spirit," "Mojo," etc., is translated as "natural energy," or vitality. What term you use (there are countless) depends on what culture you are in or what context you use it. But you'll likely use it philosophically because the life force energy I'm talking about is still mysterious for most people who have not fully awakened to its transformative power. As you'll soon learn, it's not mysterious anymore. All terms to describe life force point to the same bio motive power in us all; no matter what you call it, they represent the energy driving everything. Why do we need to get a handle on it? Because, quite literally, it's influencing everything you do, how well you do it, and for how long. You can't go through this life willing your way through things with or even without a larger-than-life personality like Tony has. For example, the book Life Force starts with stories about how Tony, known for his seemingly endless reserves of vitality, wondered if he could 'bring it' anymore in his 50s. "After decades of relentless physical demands, it seemed like my body was falling apart. My life had always been defined by my energy and mind, by my constant drive to serve people and perform for them at the very peak of my abilities. But now, it looked like the whole edifice might come tumbling down at any moment. I don't know if you've ever had an experience like this—a time when your vitality was compromised. When your energy began to slip away, you started to contemplate the possibility of continued decline. If you can, you can imagine the uncertainty that I felt. But I wasn't about to surrender and accept that the damage was irreversible. I refused to believe that any fate was sealed. So I did what I've always done. I kept looking for answers." Robbins then discusses how he became a full-time "biohacker" (someone who goes outside traditional medical institutions and even alternative healthcare to boost physical and cognitive performance." He addresses the miracle of rejuvenation, how he discovered stem cells and recovered from a shoulder injury preventing him from using his arm. He also highlights many aspects of regenerative medicine and lifestyle choices to improve energy, health, performance, and longevity. Why do I share all of that, and why is this relevant to your life, career, or business success, and not just another, albeit powerful, insight about your health alone that may fade into the rearview mirror? It's because it's all about your performance. No one can take consistent action, breakthrough limits and fears, overcome obstacles and deal with daily challenges the way we're trained to, usually from the neck up, without extraordinary vitality and strength unless they don't mind burning out and trading their health for success. Surprisingly, that's what Tony Robbins was doing, and he's since changed that. Not by more willpower (which still has its place), but now by better managing his life force energy, improving, and optimizing how he's living! Your will is proportionate to your life force, and if your life force is strong and your lifestyle is guided by managing your energy, you'll start flowing like never before. Ready for a change. Perhaps your life force energy isn't as vital as you would like it to be. You know you could function and engage at a much higher level if you had more power. But you've depleted the energy that's powering your person. Sleep alone is not resolving your fatigue, and everything downstream is being negatively affected, from your metabolism to your attitude, habits, and outlook, your entire human performance. Ironically, depleted energy is usually the result of a high-performance effort. After all, if you are reading this, you are a driven achiever-type who's up to big things in your family, career, or business, and you are putting out an extraordinary level of energy each day. So, contrary to the traditional medical model, which has any number of terms of its own to describe low energy, with little they can do about it, it's usually not something that afflicts you. You don't "catch" low energy, the #1 reason people go to the doctor; you usually unintentionally earn it with a relentless activity that wears you down and opens the door for other negative consequences like viruses that exacerbate things. Here's an example of my bout with this, in an excellent example from March 2020 and again in 2022.
