You've got a lot going on in life. Not just the crush of day-to-day busyness that we all experience. You're up to big things with your work, your purpose, your creativity. you're committed to your success, maybe even greatness. And you need to perform at your absolute best to be up to the task. You don't just want to be successful—you want to have abundant reserves of energy and be healthy—and you don't want to sacrifice one for the other. And yet, that seems to be precisely what's happening, especially now, as you recover from the events of 2020.
You're driving hard to meet your goals. You're running as fast as you can to keep up with your life. But it never seems to be enough. Maybe you're making some headway in your work—but you always feel like your energy and health are losing ground in the constant push, and that is crushing your performance whether you know it or not. If you're managing to make a few healthy changes, chances are they never seem to stick—or be enough to lift you out of the “energy debt” that's making your many commitments a constant struggle. And the purpose and values most important to you are probably getting shortchanged—because you don't have the clarity and horsepower to sustain your progress. If that's even remotely true for you, you're not alone. There's a critical reason why your efforts to stay energetic, fit, and healthy and meet your life and career goals don't ever seem to "jell." and most of the world is missing it altogether. All of our diets, fitness plans, health-care interventions, and personal-growth/success programs aren't nailing the core issue. But the good news is there's a vital shift you can make that will connect your lifestyle with your highest goals—and feed them both—for a balanced and vibrantly healthy, fully-engaged, and ultimately successful life. This is a "mindset" shift so radical and powerful, and it can transform your energy, physical and mental health and fitness—to resolve every obstacle that stands in the way of achieving your real goals in your life and business. The result is a comprehensive, integrated, flourishing lifestyle that thoroughly supports your deepest or biggest aspirations. It's called performance lifestyle®. In 2021 and beyond, getting into a performance lifestyle is the key to doubling your energy level or more, steering clear of distractions that hold you back, and increasing your performance and productivity exponentially while staying healthy and well. It works because it heals the painful, chronic disconnect between your energy and health, performance, and success that plagues almost every achievement-oriented business professional today. Solidly and completely, it lays down for you the crucial foundation that other approaches have never fully covered—and fills the gaps that have kept you chasing your tail in frustration and exhaustion. The health industries, the fitness industries, even the personal growth and professional success fields—each give you only a nearsighted, partial view of the landscape. And you—your health and success itself—can fall unwittingly into the gaps as you fly half-blind, ungrounded and fragmented, trying to follow the rules for playing a game that you've never fully figured out. And if you don't know what game you're playing and the role you're playing in it, you can't train for it properly, you won't be fully motivated, and your lifestyle won't support your game or your goals. On the other hand, when your entire lifestyle is oriented around your performance in your life arena—and you treat yourself as worthy of that mentality—incredible change happens. You start to improve and ultimately optimize how you live with results that will change your life for the better, forever. Who lives a performance lifestyle? Historically, there's only been one subset of the population who has learned to apply the power of lifestyle to their specialized, high-level goals—while nurturing superior levels of flowing, unencumbered, and directed mental and physical performance. That population segment is athletes—and while many of them could improve, a lot actually, most still have something that most of us don't. it's not just talent. it's not just skill. it's not even just training. It's an entire lifestyle that, in every possible way, supports their talent, their skill, and their training—and their greatest achievements. Athletes can't let any aspect of their lifestyle get in the way of their goals. Every element has to support and contribute to their aspirations. Extraordinarily successful athletes live every aspect of their lives in seamless integration with their goals. They're utterly immersed in everything that cares for and feeds their performance—spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. They live like that. they live for that. They don't isolate their self-care or life practices from their intentions and achievements—like so many of us do. They link their lifestyle to their accomplishment and achievements—which enables them to perform at astonishing levels. Every moment, every day, they make choices that support, nourish, and honor whatever prize they have their eyes on. And ideally—if they're doing it right—they can go all out, without burning themselves out. Now, athletes aren't perfect; none of us are or ever will be. But they are the only population that consistently functions with this performance lifestyle mindset. and as a result, they perform, look, and feel way better than most of us do. The world of athleticism is where the performance lifestyle idea was born—but athletes aren't the only ones who can do it. Ironically, you don't need to be into sports or even a fitness or health enthusiast to apply this mindset and lifestyle skillset to your own life. And the older you are, the more relevant, meaningful, and actionable living a performance lifestyle becomes. The fantastic thing is, applied wholeheartedly and effectively; you can transform your life with this lifestyle approach. There is no one, regardless of background or orientation who doesn’t benefit big time. When you learn how to change, improve, and optimize your lifestyle for performance, on a foundation of energy and health, you’re results can skyrocket.
