Vijay Solanki joined the Newmark team after being recently licensed as a commercial real estate agent. Prior to the pandemic, he received over 40 Trip Advisor 5-Star Reviews and awards from Hilton Hotels in both Hawaii and Manhattan for his exceptional service in hotel management. Most recently, Vijay has held the position of Sales Director for the New Jersey/Massachusetts region of a nutritional fitness company as well as being Assistant Operations Director at a DNB-rated nutritional supplements company. As an accomplished leader in hospitality management and operations, Vijay brings to his new sales role experience, qualities, and skills resonant with the Newmark culture – expert communication skills; outstanding customer service; honesty and integrity; attention to detail; problem-solving, and a passionate commitment to identify and align strategic business, financial and operational objectives with real estate requirements. Born in Clifton, New Jersey, he was raised in Pine Brook, and will cultivate the Morris and Essex County markets, offering buyer/seller agency, tenant/landlord representation and valuation services. Vijay graduated from University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management through the Isenberg School of Management. In recent years, he became certified as a personal trainer as well. Clients in diverse spheres of his work most appreciate his ability to listen and make them feel valued. His personal slogan aligns with merit he has been awarded: “Personalized, not franchised.” Always having a passion to help others, he has been involved in his local community as a Pathways Mentor to assist exceptional children find jobs and learn practical skills. During his college career he was an active member at the Amherst Survival Center. More currently, he gives back to his community by volunteering at holiday food drives. While being an avowed “foodie,” nonetheless, he enjoys travel, hiking, skiing, running, biking, weightlifting, swimming, tennis, and group sports with soccer being his favorite. Comments are closed.
