Cedar Knolls, N.J., July 31, 2021 – Midyear numbers revealed a pleasant surprise for Newmark Associates as lease transaction volume matched that of 2019, highlighting a steady increase over 2020. Newmark Associates continued this high with the first in-person gathering for the company since the past year of social distancing and working remotely. Both the contribution and professionalism of team leaders and agents was honored at the luncheon, awarding several men and women for outstanding personal, and professional achievements. Susanne Newmark, President and CEO, remarked: “I am extremely gratified that everyone involved in Newmark Associates stepped up and showed incredible resilience in a year that tested us all.” Leadership awards were earned by Judith Feldman, Managing Director/Director of Healthcare Division; followed by Deborah Myers, Managing Director/Broker Associate; Nancy Stanton-Tuckman, Executive Vice President/Business Development; Jay Zeitchik, Senior Sales Associate; and Helene Elbaum, Executive Vice President/Business Development. In 2020, Ms. Feldman managed over 15,000 sf of Office/Medical Sales transactions, partnering with Courtney Rosenkrantz and Charles Ritschel. Ms. Rosenkrantz earned the “Young Leaders Award”—designated for that young team member who exhibits leadership qualities typically found in established professionals and who takes initiative to unite and create opportunities for younger professional to form ongoing business relationships. Ms. Stanton-Tuckman, together with Jay Zeitchik, managed an 18,000 sf Office/Medical Lease transaction, followed by Meryl Ehrenkranz, Senior Vice President, and Susanne Newmark, President and CEO. Tuckman was given an award for her commitment and ability to attract new business in creative and innovative ways. Five associates were recognized for volume of transactions. They include Helene Elbaum, followed by Deborah Myers, Courtney Rosenkrantz, Nancy Stanton-Tuckman, and Judith Feldman. Ms. Elbaum, managing the top Multiple Mixed-Use Leases, received the Leadership Award for her ability to effectively solve problems and readily make herself available to assist others; she also earned the Velocity Award for the momentum and velocity with which she accomplishes transactions.
