Livingston, NJ - more. by Christy Sanborn is officially open in the heart of East Northfield Road.  The ribbon cutting took place on November 17, 2020.  At more., Sanborn provides one-on-one inspirational guidance coaching to those that need a little pep in their step.  "The reason I decided to to name my business more. was because it came to me," said Sanborn.  "One morning I woke up and I saw that exact word in my mind.  It was all lowercase letters with a period."

more. just felt right in her mind and heart as she believes that everyone could be more, give more, love more, listen more and care more.

After spending over 20 years behind the chair at a salon as a hair artist, she realized that she loved listening to all her clients' stories, whether they were pleasant or not, as she loves helping people find solutions to their problems.  A few years ago, Sanborn went on a journey to see if her advice and wisdom was good enough to create a business which resulted in her ordering a blow-up couch from Amazon.  "I took it to the streets of New York City and I set it up on many different sidewalks around Manhattan," said Sanborn.  "I carried a sign that said 'Free Advice'." 

Her pop-up couch would be seen at Central Park, Bryant Park, Times Square, Grand Central Station, Union Square and many other places.  She would set it up week after week and wait for the right people to find her.  They always did.  All of the people she spoke with had different stories, but similar troubles.  They were all seeking purpose and lacking true joy in their lives.

"I love to inspire people to look outside the box and go for what really makes their heart sing," said Sanborn.  "So I decided to call myself an Inspirational Guidance Coach because that's what I do best and remind them of how unique and special their own individual talents and gifts are."  

Sanborn offers sessions on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6 pm to 9 pm, on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9 am to 11 am and Friday and Saturday nights from 6 pm to 9 pm at her office.  She is also happy to do phone or Zoom appointments.  Contact Christy Sanborn at 856.397.7879 or [email protected].
