Staying Focused on our Mission

As we turn the page on what was an “eventful” 2020, I would like for us all to stay focused on what we collectively set out to do prior to this global pandemic that disrupted our lives: continue to maintain and grow Leadership Morris’ impact in the community, ensure that Leadership Morris remains relevant and to continue to show our graduates the value of being an active member of this organization. Whether it is through community projects, networking events, committee involvement or as a community champion, please stay connected to Leadership Morris! I encourage you to take an active stance in helping us grow in 2021 and beyond.

As I have said before, socially responsible leadership ALWAYS has a place in our society. It is often under-appreciated and taken for granted, but it is an important part of what makes us who we are as members of this organization. Take on challenges, find solutions and encourage others to do the same. “Leadership with a Purpose” is more than just a catch phrase.

Always, I thank my fellow Alumni Council members and Leadership Morris Alums for your continued support of this organization. Now more than ever, organizations such as ours can play a vital part in our ability to adjust to the ever-changing world around us. Personally, I am tired of dealing with this pandemic. I hope the vaccination process is swift and that we all can get back to some sort of normalcy, whatever that may look like in the future. As we work through this process, let’s not lose sight of what is important: Family and friends always come first. Religious beliefs; Community; Favorite Sports teams, whatever interests you. My only request is that Leadership Morris is a part of your personal equation.
