Anthony Slimowicz of C&F Joins JBWS Board to Aid Victims of Domestic Violence

JBWS welcomes Anthony Robert Slimowicz, Esq. to its Board of Directors. Slimowicz is the Chief Operating Officer and division President at Crum & Forster Insurance Company (C&F). Anthony lives in Bernardsville, NJ with his wife Lynn and his daughter Ava. “I am honored to be appointed to the JBWS Board of Directors and to be associated with such an impactful organization, says Anthony. “The tireless work that JBWS performs in support of victims and survivors of domestic violence is inspiring, and I am proud to lend my voice and resources to further support such a worthy cause.” Anthony’s philanthropic interest and drive motivate him to be a significant contributor to his local community and charities.

This past Thanksgiving holiday, at C&F’s Morristown location, Anthony and his C&F employees and their families hosted a delicious Thanksgiving feast and festivities for all of the residents living temporarily in JBWS’ safe house and transitional living apartments. In September 2019, Crum & Forster raised more than $250,000 to benefit JBWS. Slimowicz and the Morristown-based Crum & Forster Insurance hosted a special reception for its donors with the 18 Grand Slam single championship winner Chris Evert. C&F has supported JBWS’ mission consistently with in-kind monthly snack donations and financial contributions since the 1980s. “Anthony’s experience, professional skills and spirit of philanthropy will be a wonderful asset to the JBWS Board of Directors,” says JBWS Board Chair Amy Komoroski Wiwi, a Partner at Lowenstein Sandler LLP. “We are excited to work with him.” JBWS provides safety, support and solutions for abuse.
