Market Street Mission, Inc. |
Our mission at Market Street is to surround our homeless, hungry and those struggling with addiction with God’s love and everything they need to get back on their feet – food and shelter, counseling and job training, spiritual guidance and Bible study – to live stable, productive lives in our community.

Mayo Performing Arts Center |
Mayo Performing Arts Center is where our community comes together to be inspired, entertained and uplifted by the power and the passion of the performing arts. With over 200 events covering the span of performing arts, from classical music to modern dance, theatre to popular music, MPAC brings the world’s greatest entertainers, New Jersey-based artistic organizations, and emerging and dynamic new performers to our region. Through arts education and community outreach programs, MPAC is committed to providing cultural enrichment for both young audiences and the public at large by increasing their exposure to the arts. It is our belief that everyone should be able to engage with the arts in an inclusive environment.

For nearly 70 years, the Mental Health Association of Essex and Morris County is steadfastly committed to the core tenets that mental illness is real and, more importantly, that recovery is possible. Our dedication to all of our consumers remains unwavering and our impact and capacity for improving the quality of life for individuals with mental illness only stand to grow in the weeks, months and years ahead.

In following with their personal interests in the arts and community development, Mimi and Cliff were active supporters of arts education programs, historic preservation, and education for underfunded groups. The Mimi Washington Starrett Foundation is the culmination of a lifetime of generosity aligned with Mimi’s specific vision to create a foundation to continue to do good work and have meaningful impact in the community she and Cliff called home.

MOMI Museum of Imagination + Innovation |
MOMI was designed by local parents, Sara Sorenson, Nicole Pittaluga, and Nisha Patel, to be a place that provides learning through play for children of all ages, learning styles, and abilities. MOMI would also be an interactive museum that connects children to Art, Science, and Nature.

MORRIS ARTS’ guiding principles include the belief that the arts are vital to the social fabric and economic prosperity of the area, act as a catalyst for social change, and enrich the lives of everyone in the community. Our varied programs and services serve to inspire, connect and engage. They include arts education programs for children in grades K-12, the creation of innovative community-building arts events, including concerts, gallery walks and public art exhibits, and support of area artists and arts organizations through funding, advocacy, and professional development.

The Morris Automated Information Network (MAIN) is a consortium of 38 public libraries located in Morris, Somerset and Warren Counties. MAIN’s mission is to lead and encourage collaboration, resource sharing, staff development and innovation by providing high quality, cost effective shared services to member libraries for their communities. MAIN aspires to help member libraries and the communities they serve to readily access a rich spectrum of resources.
