About Mentor Morris

The Mentor Morris program pairs mentors who are interested in professional development and developing leadership skills with mentees looking to gain guidance, knowledge, skills, perspective and personal encouragement.
​
Mentors and mentees will be paired and will meet virtually at least once per month for a period of 6 months and regularly communicate between meetings by mail or phone.

Why Participate?

Mentors

Mentors will build their professional network and leadership skills. They will gain a sense of accomplishment in assisting a Young Professional to reach their goals by imparting their professional advice and knowledge. 

Mentees

Mentees gain guidance, knowledge, skills, perspective and personal encouragement. They expand their professional network and improve their communication skills which has a postive impact on their performance. 

Both Parties

Whether in the private, government or nonprofit sector, mentoring relationships are found to be mutually beneficial and create opportunities for both the Mentor and Mentee help each other gain new perspectives.
