5th Annual Big Shots Golf Classic at Fairmount Country Club to Benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters

A round of golf can help change a child’s future! Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal & Northern New Jersey (BBBSCNNJ) will host its 5th Annual Big Shots Golf Classic on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Fairmount Country Club in Chatham, NJ, raising funds to match local children with caring, supportive volunteer mentors. 

Participants may register as individual golfers, foursomes, or attend just the evening cocktail hour and dinner reception. Golfers will enjoy a BBQ lunch, course refreshments, greens fees, carts, scoring, cocktail reception, dinner, and awards.

A variety of sponsorship opportunities are also available, offering visibility for businesses and the chance to sponsor a Little Brother or Sister in the program. “Every child deserves someone in their corner,” said William Salcedo, BBBSCNNJ Executive Director. “When our community comes together through events like the Big Shots Golf Classic, we’re ensuring that more children have a positive role model to guide and inspire them. That’s the real win of the day.”

Funds raised will directly support BBBSCNNJ’s one-to-one mentoring programs, which currently serve more than 1,800 youth across 10 counties. From helping children build confidence, to encouraging educational success, to providing a trusted relationship in their lives, mentorship has a proven impact that lasts well beyond childhood.
