I realized I’d been marketing my signature solution as my company name, without that name fully capturing the essence of what I’ve been building all these years.
Because what I’ve been aiming to do is teach human performance to the many, not just the few—not just the CEO, athlete or biohacker who may identify as “high performers,” and be very proactive. So, first things first: I’ve renamed my company Performany Inc., a name that captures our new commitment to helping many people unlock and live their true potential. That’s very different from ideas like “unleashing your full potential,” because it points to the greatest and most important lifestyle shifts a person can make:
At Performany, we’ll be offering proven personal, professional, and commercial recovery solutions to help individuals, teams, and clients revitalize. We’ll also offer Performance Lifestyle® Coaching for those who want to manage their energy like a pro in pursuit of their life goals, make those two shifts, and align their lives with the fundamentals of successful living. Lastly, we provide digital content that inspires, educates, and supports that mission. This article kicks off the first in a new series based on this sharpened, rounded-out mission. Now, here’s the twist: You might assume I want to help people become high performers—after all, you see the words perform and performance in my company name and signature solution. And while it's true—who doesn’t want to function and perform at their best—that’s not the endgame. I teach proactive energy recovery, how to revitalize your body, and how to live a lifestyle that performs—a lifestyle that works for you, not against you, and aligns with what you’re up to in the world. You see, performance is not the outcome we’re seeking, it’s the pathway to outcomes that actually matter. I’m not pushing a hustle culture ideal or measuring success by how much you can do. Quite the opposite. Performance, as I teach it, is about lifestyle—it’s about living in alignment with your true potential and maximizing that, so you have the power to achieve your goals and experience the qualities of life you want. A significant portion of Performance Lifestyle training isn’t just about energy and health… it’s about how you achieve what you’re up to in the world. Performance is not about comparison or chasing someone else’s version of success. It’s about enabling your lifestyle to support your vision in a way that’s healthy, sustainable, and fulfills your mission and vision. What I’m really teaching is how to live like a pro—with sustained energy, health, and performance driven by intention and clarity—so that your lifestyle yields the performance level that enables you to achieve what matters most, without burning out or sacrificing your health along the way. Because here’s the trap: Without a lifestyle that performs—designed to support your goals—you can easily end up grinding, overachieving, and even succeeding, only to prematurely wear yourself out, and sacrifice health for success. Many so-called “high performers” fall into this trap. They aren’t just high-performing—they’re performance addicts. At Performany, our aim is different. We help people become healthy, high-achieving individuals who flourish—not by doing everything to the 9s, but by ultimately living in energy balance with a lifestyle aligned to the fundamentals of human performance, which most people have never clarified, learned, or gained proficiency in. When I talk about living like a “pro,” I mean with proficiency in the essential aspects of lifestyle, that steer you clear of the hidden lifestyle challenges that distract and hold you back. All balanced, healthy, high-achieving people who flourish have lifestyles that perform. They are not performance addicts. They don’t live in a frenzy. In many cases, they’re not even exceptional. They are extraordinary—because they live by the fundamentals. High achievement isn’t about chasing someone else’s success. It’s about defining your own. Whether you aspire to run a paper route or a real estate empire, your goals are valid—and your lifestyle should support them. That’s what ends the cycle of comparison and performance addiction—of tiring, burning, and wearing yourself out prematurely, coping with excess stress, and unintentionally creating more fatigue instead of more energy and freedom. Because when performance is understood not as the prize, but as the natural state and function of a person in pursuit of something meaningful, it becomes sustainable, fulfilling, and real. Welcome to Performany. Talk to me about personal, professional, or commercial recovery solutions you can incorporate into your lifestyle to accelerate the recovery of energy, which then improves everything else. And when the time is right, jump into MyPL365 training could save you 20 years or more aligning your lifestyle with the fundamentals of successful living, all of which are working in your life right now, but perhaps at too low a level, isolated from others, and without the consistency you need. So, if you want win the second half of your work/life, without compromising your longevity, and relatively quickly resolve the consequences of the first half, it is my aim to inspire, educate, and support you in optimizing the root causes of both health and sustained success: all together they form your lifestyle. I look forward to meeting you, ~ JAM
