I've sat through more pipeline reviews than I can count. Some are encouraging. Others are painful. Not because the numbers are bad, but because everyone in the room knows they're looking at fiction. There are deals that haven't moved in months. Prospects who are "still interested." Opportunities with close dates that keep drifting from one quarter to the next. Nobody intends to be dishonest, but hope has a funny way of finding its way into a CRM. The longer I've worked with sales teams, the more I've come to believe that a pipeline isn't really a forecasting tool. It's a reflection of how we sell.

One of the things we enjoy most about working with businesses across NJ is hearing what's on their minds. Whether the conversation starts with growth, hiring, customer service, or preparing for the year ahead, it almost always finds its way to technology eventually—not because they're interested in technology for its own sake, but because it's become woven into nearly every part of running a successful modern business. What's interesting is how those conversations have changed over the past few years. |
