How do I apply?
Please complete our online application. What is the deadline for applications? Applications must be received by November 30th. What is the cost of the program? The tuition cost for the class is $2,300. Are full scholarships offered for non-profits? The cost for non-profits is $1,500. We offer a $500 scholarship assistance, however, partial scholarships are offered on a competitive basis. What is the class size? We accept up to 34 applicants into the program each year. How often does the class meet? The class starts the end of January with an all-day Opening Retreat. We then meet once a month (excluding August) with a graduation at a local venue in November. What is the length of time for each class session? We typically meet from 8:30am to 3:30pm Are we allowed to miss any sessions? You may have two excused absences, with an opportunity for a make-up. Are there any group or class assignments? At the opening retreat the class will be put into 4 teams. Throughout the year each team will be responsible to take photos of different locations throughout Morris County. Each team will also be responsible for organizing a community service project which will be implemented before graduation. Also, each individual will be responsible to present a 3 minute board report on a non-profit in our area. This is required before graduation (this will be explained in more detail at the Opening Retreat). |
