Mission: To monitor and address legislative and public policy issues at the local, state and federal levels of government as they relate to the interests of business and economic development in Morris County and among chamber members and to draft and recommend to the board of directors positions on such issues to be adopted and promulgated to appropriate government officials, the membership and the public.

The Government Affairs Forum provides all chamber members and the business community a voice in matters of impact to their interests. Meetings include discussion of issues and legislation pending in Trenton and Washington. Members gain access to office holders who attend as guests and speakers. The committee also formulates positions on important legislative issues.

The forum plans and helps implement the Annual Legislative Breakfast/Luncheon, which features leading state and local elected officials and offers members of the business community the opportunity to interact with and ask questions of their representatives.
