Dear Chamber Members:
I want to thank all of you who have volunteered your time and resources to make the Morris County Chamber of Commerce successful this year. Our organization has committed leadership from our staff, Board, Executive Committee and many of our members.
We are in a challenging economic environment. The Chamber's number one goal is adding value for our members and supporting your specific business goals for the New Year. If we can connect you to a potential customer, arrange a meeting for you with elected officials or get you involved in a Chamber committee of interest please don't hesitate to reach out to me. If you have an issue that requires attention in Trenton or Washington we can help you develop your strategy.
Other important goals for 2009 include growing our membership, building on the success of our key committees and the work they do, completing the Resource Directory Data Base project with the Department of Homeland Security, and refocusing our public policy and advocacy program.
We will continue to support our deployed troops and their families. We just completed a phone card fundraiser for the troops which surpassed the financial target we set to assist the 400 deployed soldiers from Morris County armories. Thanks again to all of you who contributed to this effort.
I appreciate the warm welcome you have given me as your new chamber president. Our organization has a great history and we have many opportunities to continue to build on our record of accomplishments.
Wishing you a happy holiday season.
Sincerely,
Paul Boudreau, President
Morris County Chamber of Commerce
